Our story is made of passion for Italy and a great love in making dreams come to life, qualities that allow us to transform a simple idea into reality. For over thirty years this has been what we do: we listen to the needs of our customers and we create the best possible experiences capable of fully satisfying them. We think carefully about every detail and every particularity, until you wind up with a unique trip, entirely sewn together based on specific needs. We know how to do it really well, to the point that a trip conceived by us will feel so completely yours that it will seem as comfortable as a tailor-made suit or dress can be.

Luisa was born and grown within the family business environment, from an English Mother and tireless traveller & an authentic Florentine Father ,she grows up with Bread, Olive oil and international visitors from all over the world, inevitably this multicultural exchange influences her life, she quickly becomes herself a citizen of the world; she conducted humanistic studies ,but when she started helping her father at work to gain some economic independence, it’s when everything slowly started to become clearer in her eyes, this was what she wanted to do! She became passionate and truly dedicated to the project, putting heart and soul into what became a mission, deliver memories of a lifetime to those who visit Italy! To be Travelling and to be Dreaming means Freedom, she sees no possible life without them, in love with her native country, proud to be able to promote it’s incredible versatility and cultural richness through her passions.

NICCOLÒ FORTINI

Niccolò, grown within an international environment since his childhood, within family business as well as outside world, his passion for Music, Travel ,History and Sport, enable him to develop many different skills and experience different jobs, thanks to his experimental and innovative studies , he developed and open mind and high level of creativity and dexterity, inspired by the infinite world of Arts and Crafts around him, he inherited the passion for craftsmanship and applied this in everything he did.
In the early 2000 he joined Fortissimo and added to the company another solid brick with his hard work, passion and dedication, starting from zero growing into who he is today. He is a Volcano of ideas and a True Warrior, can’t stop him once he’s wheels are in motion!
He is a Rugby fan & Fair Play lover and he thinks best part of the match is The Third Time Half

FABIO POGGIALI

Authentic True Florentine, born and grown in Florence, he conducted his studies in Administration and accounts, and started building and growing his competence through various and different positions, working in Hotel chains for several years, in Agricolture Field, Fashion stores and big brands, this versatility allowed him to gain a 360° degree view applied to his sphere as well as enriched his curriculum greatly. He met Luisa in the 90s and the 2 got married early 2000 and build a lovely family together. He joined the fortissimo team in 2010, to support the family in a very delicate moment , with himself he brought into the business a super injection of positive energy and vitamins. A true passionate of Travel, Music, and Tireless international Football follower & Lover, to be watching a football match is what makes him the happiest person on the planet ,but his heart only has 1 colour, that of his City.

Annelee is Proudly Swedish with Italian blood .. she travelled to Italy and fell in love with the city of Florence many years a go, here she met lots of friends and experienced fantastic stories ,fell in love with the climate, the food everything , including Love ! here she created a family and decided this was the city where she wanted to live …without forgetting about her Swedish identity and her passion for Travel !! Annelee joined the family business in the late 90’s and has enjoyed working in her many different roles, always in contact with the daily routine and expert of logistics and operations.

Chiara , enterprising your woman, she always knew what she wanted to do in life ! Work in the tourism industry ! She successfully completed her studies and started working just after ,Chiara joined the fortissimo team in 2014 and since then her passion and dedication have constantly grown into what she is today, a true expert and very reliable colleague ,she has specialized in daily operations and is responsible for all of our Bookings, including many important Museums.
She follows a new born booking from A to Z , just like a pastry chef would with it’s own creations, … works at it until it is just perfect only then Chiara will feel rewarded, with the satisfaction of having delivered an emotion ,a memory of a lifetime to a happy travelller.

When the idea comes from a spark

Fortissimo was born around the 90s from the hands of Paolo Fortini, a leather craftsman, citizen of the world, and tireless and passionate worker, a man with that pinch of genius (he has more ideas than he can handle) to whom, a little humorously and a little seriously, at a certain point specific requests began to be commissioned. First a friend asked him "would you help me find a hotel?" Then came a bus, a guide, and so on. Gradually Paolo realized that he had great resources in this area and that the services he was organizing were receiving extraordinary appreciation. Then he began to think bigger and organized reception services for some of the customers of his leather shop.

The project takes shape

Within a few years, customer demand and satisfaction were starting to grow rapidly. Paolo therefore decided to create an independent company and mainly deal with this task, leaving his previous activities in the capable hands of his family members and trusted collaborators. But behind every great man there is always a great woman: all this would not have been possible if there had not been Miu', wife, partner, worker and motivator, who played a huge role in the background.

Fortissimo, the Italian Tour Operator for Tailor Made Travels, is born.

In the mid-1990s, his children Luisa and Niccolò began to collaborate, and in 2001 Paolo founded Fortissimo with them. This name - contrary to what one might think – does not intend to reference the strength of the company nor does it want to seem presumptuous, but rather it stems from the desire to maintain an assonance with the surname Fortini and refer to the indications of time in Classical music: Allegro, Andante, Vivacissimo, Allegrissimo. From this combination Fortissimo was born, our temporal space whose name underlines the progress of our execution, precise, punctual, scrupulous, and strong. This is the idea behind the name that Paolo left us, underlining our passion for "doing well".
From 2001 to today we have grown, and new needs and ever-increasing demand have pushed us to expand our team. What unites us in our diversity is our generous hospitality, passion for our work and the love for our area. Together we create tailor-made stays for travelers throughout Italy, rigorously cared for in every detail and embellished with unforgettable experiences.
